Hi and Welcome to Colleen’s Crafts.

Colleen’s Crafts is about a journey. From handspun yarns, handdyed yarns, to handmade garments and accessories.

Selling is mostly through markets, and events, with an online presence.
From spinning and handdyeing yarns, to enabling my skills into machine knitting and weaving small project scarves. Sometimes I delve into felted scarves. a few years ago when I was starting to run out of room for just a 3m Gazebo I started to look for a van. Hence I now carry and show my goods from the Yarn Van specifically set up for the markets with a gazebo on the side.

With a designated Home Studio, you will find me carding wool for spinning, or working on my knitting machines. The wools I use are predominantly Australian grown Corriedale and Merino. I purchase yarns from Northeast Yarns, Bendigo Woollen Mills and Wangaratta Woollen Mills for specific handmade products.
The laundry is where the dyeing happens.
Spinning or weaving is done at night in the lounge.
My machine knit garments and accessories are worked in the studio, using pure wool yarns from North East Yarns and Bendigo Woollen Mills.
